The First phone Call through the PSTN with my mom :D

After a very hard period which was full of work and after solving too many errors in the hardware and software.

I would like to announce that we made:
The First phone Call to the PSTN network from IP phone through our
H-Gateway with 100% pure voice and great features.

We are the First in Egypt to make PSTN Gateway with internal IPPBX.

The GSM Gateway will be ready soon ISA

In the next years you will see PSTN gateway ( Made in Egypt ) in the market made by Helwan Engineers.... ISA

After Final Exams

salam alkikom

yesterday we finished our exams with a sweet DSP exam
anyway
we are free now to do what we wanna do and focus on our H-Gateway .

Where we are now in the Project ??

As i told you before exams that we finished the PSTN Card but i didn't tell you that we tried the card and the results were as following :

• The card was detected by the PSTN software
• The PSTN line was detected successfully
• We couldn't make calls ( in and out calls ) some thing is wrong in the circuit which connect the PSTN line with the FXO module
  

Today we will try to make it work ISA

Achievements

It was very hard period in mid terms offfff awiiii
anyway we did good in both exams and H-gateway

1. we finished the IP PBX tested in helwan university with our supervisor ( it was great ) to make some thing valuable .
2. we bought all the required components for the PSTN and GSM
3. we Finished the Gerber files for the designs
4. we reached the final phase in MIE.

I hope to tell you in the next post that the PSTN part worked well ( yarab ya kareem )

Now we finished the mid term exams ( offfff )
and we have one week rest because of the feast holidays .

Our plans in this week

1-finishing the GSM part of the project (software part)
2-finishing the PSTN Part hardware designing

I hope we could finish them in time without any troubles

1- we got our technical sponsor valuesys company and they help us so much in the technical part
2- we got the devl kit which we use to test our work and we succesfully installed an OS on it
3- now we finished 40 % of the software part of the project
